Mechatronics Concept Designer Resource bar

In Mechatronics Concept Designer, you can use the Resource bar to access MCD and application-specific navigators.

You can use the following navigators throughout the development process:

  • System Navigator — Lets you organize the Requirement, Function and Logical trees, and provides trace links to mechanical, electrical, and physics objects.
  • Physics Navigator — Displays all objects being created for the simulation.
  • Runtime Inspector — Lets you control, monitor, and graph runtime parameters during simulation; export simulation data; and manage simulation recordings.
  • Runtime Expression — Shows expressions created by the Runtime Expression command. These expressions are used during simulations.
  • Assembly Navigator — Displays the assembly structure of the top-level displayed part.
  • Part Navigator — Displays various aspects of your part in a graphical tree, such as basic structure, part organization, features, drawings, and reference sets.
  • Reuse Library — Provides access to reusable objects in a hierarchical tree structure.
  • MBD Navigator — Provides a comprehensive, workflow-oriented way to manage all the PMI objects, model views containing PMI, and PMI rules in your part or assembly.
  • MBD Query — Lets you search for specific non-suppressed PMI objects and other data associated with PMI in your part.
  • Sequence Editor — Provides a Gantt chart to create and sequence all operations being used in the simulation.
