Override a speed parameter for a motor instance
This example shows how to override the speed runtime parameter for a speed control actuator instance in an assembly.
Procedure
- In the Assembly Navigator, right-click a component and choose Replace Reference Set → Entire Part.
- In the Physics Navigator, under the Sensors and Actuators node, right-click the speed control actuator instance and choose Override.
- In the Speed box, type 25, and then click OK.
- In the Physics Navigator, in the Overridden column, verify the speed control actuator instance has an overriding runtime parameter.
- (Optional) To edit the overriding speed parameter, select the Speed Control node and, in the Details panel, in the Speed row, double-click the Expression cell, type 50, and then press Enter.
- Run the simulation to see the results.
