Viewing parameters and signals in graphs during a simulation
You can view parameter and signal data in a graph during a Mechatronics Concept Designer simulation. This is useful when you need to quickly ensure that your parameter and signal requirements are met, or to verify hardware specifications.
Specifying parameters and signals to graph
After you add signals and parameters to the Runtime Inspector, you can specify which parameters and signals you want to monitor in a graph during the simulation. To do this, on the Inspector tab, select the Graph check box for the parameters and signals you want to monitor.
Viewing the simulation data
You can use the Mechatronics Concept Designer Preferences to optimize the display of runtime parameters and graphs.
In the Runtime Inspector, click the Graph tab to view a graph for the data you selected. Play the simulation to view the graph's data in real time.
While viewing the graphs, you can:
- Optimize the display using zoom options.
- Display and export runtime parameter values.
