Modularity and reuse with Mechatronics Concept Designer

In Mechatronics Concept Designer, you can capture all of the physical components of an electromechanical design in a single part file.

You can store these parts in the Reuse Library and reuse them to create multiple assemblies. Since the parts are based on already-proven concepts, you can develop new systems more rapidly while improving the quality of the design.

Mechatronics Concept Designer supports the definition of functional units — this is the top-level pointer to the logical-block reuse mechanics detailed elsewhere (logical block reuse across designs, discipline-specific parameters via classification, and reusable/knowledge-enabled components stored in Teamcenter).
