Collision Material

Use the Collision Material command to define a new material and the basic behavior of the material in a collision. You can assign a collision material to collision bodies and transport surfaces.

Parameters

Define a collision material using the following parameters:

  • Dynamic Friction — Dynamic friction coefficient of the moving body.
  • Rolling Friction — Rolling friction coefficient of the body in a collision, such as a body rolling on a conveyor.
  • Restitution — Coefficient of restitution in a collision.

Note: The static friction coefficient is set to 0.7.
