Object Sink
Use the Object Sink command to delete object instances created by the Object Source command.
You can trigger an object sink when instances collide with a specified sensor object.
Example
You can use a collision sensor to detect parts and remove object instances when the object sink is active.
You can also use a signal to remove instances from the last instance created or all the instances of an object source. Use a Boolean signal to trigger the removal without requiring a sensor and location in the assembly.
Using an object sink with downstream commands
You can use an object sink with downstream commands.
Example
- If you use a bond zone to combine a rigid body with an instance, you can use the Object Sink command to remove the instance, or both the instance and any bonded bodies.
- If you use a tape zone to attach web segments, you can use the Object Sink command to remove the web segments.
