Export Extended Reality File

You can run Mechatronics Concept Designer in batch mode to support real-time data exchange with virtual-reality and augmented-reality visualization software.

You can export the simulation data to use it without visualizations in Designcenter NX. Use the sample configuration file, MCD Config.xml, in the %USER_BASE_DIR%\wntx64\kits\mechatronics\batch_mode folder to initialize the variables, such as:

• Output file location and format
• MCD model
• Simulation time duration

You can export simulation data in the following formats:

• VRML
• GLTF
• GLB
• USDZ

After you export the data, you can use an external tool to open the file in the output directory.
