Import a function from Teamcenter

Procedure

1. On the Resource bar, choose the System Navigator tab.
2. Right-click the Function folder, and then select Open Functional Model.
3. In the Open Functional Model dialog box, click Select Functional Model, and then browse to the model that you want to import.
4. Click OK.

This mirrors "Import a requirement from Teamcenter" and the logical model's equivalent import command — each of the three systems engineering model types (Requirement, Function, Logical) has its own dedicated folder in the System Navigator with an "Open Model" shortcut command used to pull an existing Teamcenter-authored model into MCD.
