Export electrical devices to SIMIT

Procedure

1. Choose Home tab → Electrical group → Export Sensors and Actuators to SIMIT. The sensors and actuators from the Physics Navigator are added to the sensor and actuator table.
2. (Optional) To export a specific sensor or actuator, do the following:
   • In the Sensors and Actuators table, select the sensors and actuators that you do not want to export, and then click Delete.
   • In the Physics Navigator tab, select the sensor or actuator that you want to export.
   • In the Sensors and Actuators group, click Add.
3. (Optional) To add a SIMIT template to the list of available templates, do the following:
   • In the Settings group, click Browse to specify a SIMIT template.
   • Click OK.
   • In the sensors and actuators table, select a sensor or actuator.
   • In the Settings group, from the SIMIT template list, select a SIMIT template for each sensor or actuator.
4. (Optional) To add a parameter to a sensor or an actuator, do the following:
   • In the Sensors and Actuators group, from the list table, select a sensor or an actuator.
   • In the Settings group, click Add.
   • In the parameter table, in the Placeholder Name cell, type a name for the parameter.
   • In the Placeholder Value cell, type an initial value.
5. In the Export to group, click Browse and select a location to export the file to.
6. Click OK.
